Bookkeeper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial tasks and ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate has strong accounting fundamentals, familiarity with bookkeeping software, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments)
  • Maintain general ledger and reconcile accounts regularly
  • Prepare financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting
  • Process payroll and statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with tax filings and government reporting
  • Maintain digital and physical records for audit and documentation

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • At least 1–3 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting

  • Knowledge of accounting principles (PH GAAP or IFRS)

  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting systems

  • Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, formulas, charts)

  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry

  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks

  • Good communication and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Philippine BIR compliance (VAT, Withholding Tax, etc.)

  • Knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., Sprout, Salarium)

  • Familiarity with cloud-based bookkeeping platforms

  • CPA license or bookkeeping certifications (a plus but not required)
